With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine Karima Perry Stokes of Corbin, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 30, 2026 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Eleanor Rose Hypes Perry; her son Damian Ashton Dean; her brother Phillip Alexander Perry; and her grandparents, Tollie, Pearl Taylor Perry, Ralph and Nettie Duncan Hypes.

She is survived by: her husband Dr. Christopher Todd Stokes Sr. of Corbin; her father Prof. Glenn Earl Perry Sr. of Terre Haute; her daughters, Dakota Adrian Dean of Corbin and Calista Rose Dean of Corbin; and her siblings, Barbara, Lucy Perry and Glenn Perry Jr..
