She was predeceased by: her husband William Clifford Sams; her son Donald Wayne Sams; her parents, Perrie Leisure and Edna Suter Leisure; and her siblings, Larry Leisure, Erma Cook, Jack Leisure, Fred Leisure, Lenora "Billie" Moody, Vera Leisure, Leroy Leisure and Ralph Leisure.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda Sizemore (Tim) and Cheryl McCracken; her grandchildren, William Sams, Melissa Gorman, Mikeal Sams (Anna), Timothy Sams (Melanie), Jessica Sams, Travis Sizemore, Amanda McCracken (Jonah) and Macayla Sizemore (Austin); and her great grandchildren, Ayla Ann, Robert, Nolan, Leo, Elizabeth, Bella, Kylie, Brice, Jack and Anderson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
