He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Jackson and Edna Sears Jackson; and his siblings, Marie Sandfer (J. W. "Pete"), Reda Jarrett (Robert), Betty Jackson, William "Bill" Jackson (Lavena) and Glen Edward Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sanders Jackson of Corbin; and his daughters, Michelle Workman (Robert) of Frenchburg and Susan Walker (Scott) of Thorntown. He is also survived by five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home (2809 South U. S, US-25 E, Barbourville, KY 40906). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home Chapel (2809 US-25E, Barbourville, KY 40906).
