He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hammons and Annie Hammons. He is survived by: his wife Della Hammons; his siblings, Lillie, Carolyn, Ray, Mary Faye, Billie, Bobby and Darlene; his children, Sherry Vanover (Carl), Michael Hammons (Felix) and Steven Hammons; his grandchildren, Tiffany King (Kelly), Rayna Hammons (Drew), Aron Hammons (Ellen) and Raylan Hammons; his great grandchildren, Ian, Blakley, Bennett and Emmy; his siblings-in-law, Darrell Roark (Rose) and Samantha Roark; and his pet Callie.
