He is survived by: his wife Linda Jo Sowders of Corbin; his daughters, Krista Dawn Sowders of Corbin and Betty Broughton (Lance) of Corbin; his siblings, Beverly Sowders Patterson (Alva) of Barbourville and Ancil Lee Sowders (Lynn) of Barbourville; his siblings-in-law, Bryon Keith Ramsey (Dowanna) of Barbourville and Lisa Michelle Ramsey of Berea; his grandsons, Ethan Lance Herbert Broughton, Landon Issac Broughton and Clayton Douglas Broughton; and his brother Earl Hammons.
