He was predeceased by: his parents, Pleasant Hoskins Young (P. H.) and Beatrice Lillian Bowling Young; and his brother William Jennings Young. He is survived by: his wife Lillie Sue Bruner Young; his children, John Franklin Young (Caroline) of Athens, TN and Jennifer Lynn Young (Greg Strause) of Louisville, KY; and his grandchildren, Katherine Anne Young and James Walter Young.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home (510 E 4th St, London, KY 40741). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Habitat for Humanity or God's Pantry Food Bank in Jack's memory.
