He was predeceased by: his parents, Pleasant Hoskins Young (P. H.) and Beatrice Lillian Bowling Young; and his brother William Jennings Young. He is survived by: his wife Lillie Sue Bruner Young; his children, John Franklin Young (Caroline) of Athens, TN and Jennifer Lynn Young (Greg Strause) of Louisville, KY; and his grandchildren, Katherine Anne Young and James Walter Young.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Habitat for Humanity or God's Pantry Food Bank in Jack's memory.
