He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Holdiness (Dillow); his parents, Eugene Walter and Josephine Elizabeth Holdiness (Pace); and his brother Tony Holdiness. He is survived by: his children, Lakin McBee of Barbourville, Tina Berry of Corbin, Kentucky and James Holdiness, Jr. of Corbin, Kentucky; and his sisters, Linda Berger of Baltimore, Kathy Faircloth and Carol Devenny of Florida.
