He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram Bennett and Nannie Bennett; his siblings, Garrett "Buddy" Bennett, Ralph Bennett and Martha Sizemore; and his nephews, Wayne and Charlie Sizemore.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Bennett; his daughter Annette Reynolds (Marvin); his grandson Tyler Reynolds; his great grandchild Kopen Reynolds; his stepgrandsons, Dillon and Evan Keck; and his brother Gorman Bennett (Nancy). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
