He was predeceased by: his son Ricky Eugene Johns; his parents, John Henry Johns and Bessie Bryant Johns; and his siblings, John Will Johns, Pleas Johns, Kay Boggs, Geraldine Marcum and Bobbie Johns.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Neil Johns, Charles R. Johns (Sherry), Florence Christina Johns, Erica Diana Johns, Eric Keith Johns and Robin Gray; his siblings, Wilma Gadd, Christine Brock (Larry), Trish Wagers (Paul) and Junior Johns (Anna); his grandchildren, Zachary Johns, Landen Sizemore, Brayden Sizemore, Dillon Burnett, Dalton Gray, Riley Gray and Courtney Ball (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Ellie Ann Ball and Hagen David Ball; and his niece Ruth Lee. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
