He was predeceased by: his parents, W. O. "Bill" Gross and Rosey Gross. He is survived by: his wife Janice Gross (McDaniel); and his children, Donald Gross (Selinda) of Corbin, Teresa Brooks (Doyle) of Nicholasville, Martha Paul (Carl) of Rockholds and Erica Gabbard (Sean) of Keavy, Kentucky. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
