He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth C. Phillips and Della Ellis Phillips; his wife Shelia Monhollen Phillips; his stepson Michael Davis; and his sister Pamela Phillips.

He is survived by : his sons, Aaron Phillips (Melanie) and Adam Phillips (Monica); his grandchildren, Samuel Phillips, Gabriel Phillips and Lacy Phillips; his sister Paula Willian (Greg); and his pets, Poppy, Gypsy, Jasmine and Frybread.
