It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kurt William Felten of Corbin, Kentucky, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on January 29, 2026, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Roger Felten. He is survived by: his mother Janet Felten (Van Ryn); his children, Kayla, Mandy and Ben Felten; his wife Lori Felten (Stassel); his siblings, Brent Felten (Shari), Kristi Felten, Erik Felten and Holly Ehler (Greg); his in-laws, Larry and Dorothy Stassel (Nehring); and his brothers-in-law, Dave Stassel and Jon Stassel (Annemeike). He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kurt's memory may be made to Living Waters Bible Camp scholarship fund, youth ministries at Central Baptist Church (Corbin, KY), or the Association of Frontotemporal Degeneration (theaftd.org).
