He is survived by: his wife Brenda Myers of Corbin, Kentucky; his daughters, Laura Piipponen (Jeff) of Key and Jane Chandler (Mel) of Corbin, Kentucky; his siblings, Gail Frederick (Boyce) of Corbin, Kentucky and David Myers (Vickie) of Corbin, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Andy Piipponen, Lizzie Piipponen, Garner Chandler and Patton Chandler; his stepsons, Doug Clark (Jennifer) and Sean Foozer (Emily); and his stepgrandchildren, Serena Foozer, Sebastian Foozer, Kenzie Clark, Kayla Clark, Samantha Foozer and Douglas Clark Jr..
