It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Scott Strickland (Corbin, Kentucky), who passed away on April 27, 2025, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Mackenzie Strickland of Williamsburg, KY; his children, Caleb Strickland of Williamsburg, KY., Andrew Strickland of Williamsburg, KY. and Sadie Strickland of Williamsburg, KY.; his parents, Paul Strickland and Ginger Strickland of Williamsburg, KY; his siblings, Paul Strickland Jr. of Williamsburg, KY, David Strickland of Williamsburg, KY and Tabitha McKinney of Sevierville, TN; his parents-in-law, Don and Cindy of Corbin, KY; and his siblings-in-law, Mollie and Shawn Siler.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Corbin Arena (500 Arena Dr, Corbin, KY 40701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Whitley County Colonel Baseball Team.
