He was predeceased by: his father James Clyde Reeves; and his stepmother Nancy Reeves. He is survived by: his mother Joyce Wells Gaddis; his stepfather Herbert Gaddis, Jr. of Corbin, Kentucky; his sons, Seth Reeves (Sarah) of Corbin and Jake Reeves (Jessie) of Covington, Kentucky; his siblings, Sandra Reeves (Michael Watkins) of Corbin, Kentucky and Danny Reeves (Cindy) of Lexington, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Wyatt Reeves, Ella Reeves, Bryce Reeves, Cole Reeves and Hensley Reeves; and his nephews, Adam Reeves (Sarah) of Lexington and Joseph Reeves (Meredith) of Lexington, Kentucky.
