Michael LeRey Saunders Obituary

We announce the death of Michael LeRey Saunders of Corbin, Kentucky, born in Barbourville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 2, 2026, at the age of 72. Michael will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Mowell and Lois Faye Mowell; and his siblings, David Saunders and Sharon Graham. He is survived by: his wife Vicky Lynn Saunders; his children, David Michael Saunders (Tracy), Angela Lynn Saunders and Kasey Lee Saunders; his grandchildren, Malachi Saunders, Matthew Harp (Cidney), Sarah LeRae Leger, Megan LeRae Leger, Victoria Kate Saunders and Joshua Leger; his siblings, Tony Saunders (Charlotte), Donna Mills and Karla Mowell; his friend Church; and his pet Nola. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
