It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ophie Howard Shell (Corbin, Kentucky), who passed away on May 4, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Howard and Ethel Roberts Howard; her husband Geoffrey Shell; her children, Lonnie Shell and Martha Lou Shell; her grandson Kevin Shell; and her siblings, Iva Howard, Roy, Golden, Paul and Ance Howard.
She is survived by: her son Leslie Shell; her granddaughters, Lisa Johnson and Angela Minor; her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Chelsey, Kyle, Mirella, Maleah and Merribeth; and her sister Margaret Pennington.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic all services will be private by the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
