With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Bays Howard of Corbin, Kentucky, who passed away on April 25, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Clyde Bays Sr. and Mary Needham Bays (Thomas E. Howard); her siblings, Betsy Crum and Gene Bays; and her great grandchild Grayson Daniel Smoot.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Mathes (Richard), Clyde B. Howard (Lori) and Jeffrey T. Howard; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Howard, Sydney Howard, Mary Kuntz (John), Cory Smoot (Lyndzey), Madison Howard and Kelsy Smith (Jacob). She is also survived by Five Great Grandchildren.
