He was predeceased by: his parents, Esom Bryant and Hester Cox Bryant; his daughter Teresa Lynn Bryant; and his siblings, Lethea Cox, Elizabeth Broome, Thelma Bryant, Essie Jean Wilson, Clarence Bryant, Dave Bryant and Johnny "Rusty" Bryant.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Mae Lewallen Bryant; his daughters, Lisa Lynn Sanders (Richard) and Karen Sue Hurt (Corbett Lee); his grandchildren, Pleas James "PJ" Carter (Taylor), Joshua Michael Carter (Amber Beaty) and Samantha Brittan Asher (James); his great grandchildren, Jacob Carter, Elizabeth Carter, Faith Carter, Jace Carter and Liara Carter; and his sister Alma Douglas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of relative and friends.
