“So sorry for your loss. I didnt know Rick as well as many, but an act of kindness when I moved to Whitley County back in '94 will always be remembered. He took the time to set down and talk to the new kid at school, making me feel welcomed when I did not really know anyone. After we graduated in '96 I ran into Rick several times over the years and it was always clear he was a genuine good man. His passing is a great loss to the community and he will be missed by all that knew him. - Shaun Harris”
