He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Ryan and Dorothy Ryan; his son Christopher Ryan; and his brothers, Tommy Ryan, Timmy Ryan, Donald Ryan, David Ryan and Jimmy Ryan.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Ryan; his children, Greg Ryan (Jodie) and Fran Jones; his grandchildren, Derrick Ryan, Christopher Ryan, Sarah Collins, Matthew Hembree and Ashlely Hembree; his great grandchildren, Benson, McKinley, Jett, Amara and Millie Jean Hembree; his siblings, Shirley Young, Jeffrey Ryan, Jennifer Fungaroli and Bobby Ryan; his niece Frances; and his nephew Rick Herndon. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oak Grove Baptist Church (2322 N Kentucky 830, Corbin, KY 40701). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
