He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Vernon Lewis and Lois Marie Jackson Lewis; and his sister Flo Lewis. He is survived by: his daughters, April Diane Lewis and Melissa Ann Lewis; his siblings, Eugene Lewis (Geneva Witt), Benny Lewis, Brenda Wilson and Janice Lewis; his granddaughter Mallory Rayann Crawford; and his close friend Pat Felts Baxter.
