He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Grove, Sr. and Viola Mathes Grove; his siblings, Dewey Sharpe, Louise Grove and Jeanne Miller; and his grandson Robert Vernon Grove.
He is survived by: his brother George Grove (Judy); his wife Jeannette Cloyd Grove; his sons, Robby Grove (Vanessa), Scott Grove (Sonya) and Steven Weevil Grove (Mary Jo); his grandchildren, Mackenzie Ledford (Jeff), Meredith Chandler (Wes), John Robert Grove, Joey Grove (Destiny) and Josh Grove (Julia); and his great grandchildren, Annabelle, Atticus, Arthur Ledford, Natalie Grove and Flora Grove.
