He is survived by: his wife Mary Helen Riddle Barnes; his son Robert Braxton Turteltaub (Whitney Fay); his stepchildren, Mark Bradlee Barnes (Jan), Robin Elain Folkerth (Bob) and Tammy Shawn Frasher (Chad); his grandchildren, Zoie Hayden Turteltaub, Lydia Lux Joyce Barnes, Whitney Nicole Judy (Brad), Doug Saunders and Megann Durham; and his nieces, Erin and Joslyn.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Locust Grove Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
