He is survived by: his wife Robbie Anne Thurmond; his children, Jeff Thurmond (Kellee) and Becca Carmichael (Sam); his grandchildren, Ally, Ben, Andrew Thurmond and Tripp Carmichael; and his sisters, Carol Bentley, LeeAnn Strunk (Carson) and Amy Conley (Garry). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
