He was predeceased by: his father Ulysses Grant Haynes; his wife Mary Sherman Haynes; and his children, Roger Dale Haynes Jr. and Jennifer Rebecca Snyder. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Dwayne Haynes of Corbin and Jamie Liz Snyder of London, Kentucky; and his siblings, Doug Haynes of Fort Myers, Sherry Carter of Hamilton and Barbara Fox of Maryville, Tennessee. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
