He was predeceased by: his father Noble Glen Payne; his daughter Lisa Payne; and his great grandchild Dalton Farmer. He is survived by: his mother Velma Haggler Payne; his children, Rebecca Payne and John Farmer; his grandchildren, Devyn Stephenson, D. J. Johnson, Kyleigh Johnson, Brittnay Farmer, Cody Farmer, Austin Farmer and James Marshal, Jr.; and his siblings, Barbara Johnson and Ronnie Helton.
