It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola Geraldine Sharp of Corbin, Kentucky, who passed away on July 27, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Arlo Sharp and Mildred Sapp; her stepmother Ruby Sharp; and her sister Brenda McVay. She is survived by: her children, Lynnetta Diane Smith (Kevin), Randy Lawless (Karen), Wade Lawless (Kim) and Angela Cannady Valentine (Paul); her siblings, Arlo Sharp Jr. (Butch), Eugene Sharp, Reg Sapp and Nadjy Mikesell; and her great-niece Brendi. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
