He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Bambi Hood; sons: Dustin Hood (Naomi) and Jesse Hood; daughter-in-law: Naomi; grandchildren: Cadence Hood, Deaglan Hood, and Cyrus Hood; parents: Walter Hood and Retha Hood; brothers: Ron Hood and Don Hood; sisters: Patricia Harmon, Janice Smith, Billy Mackey, Wanda Bowman, and Barb Cook; brothers-in-law: Paul Smith, Arvelee Mackey, and Jim Bowman; other: Dan Hash; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hart Funeral Home Chapel (1011 Master St, Corbin, KY 40701). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers to honor Michael's love of children, donations to a local school Backpack Program are encouraged.
