She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Wilburn and Gladys Wilburn; her husband George Payne; her close friend Austin Shumate; her brother Delbert Wilburn; her sister-in-law Tootsie Wilburn; her sons, Burley Elliott and Charles Ray Elliott; her daughter-in-law Linda Elliott; her stepdaughter Shirley Payne; and her great grandchild Billy Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Elliott (Sheila) of Indiana, Mike Elliott (Vicki) of Rockholds, Kentucky and Ada Hausman (Roger) of Gray, Kentucky; her stepson Parker Payne of Corbin, Kentucky; and her sisters, Bonnie Brown (Doyle) of Louisville and Sue Miller of Gray. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.
