He is survived by: his children, Anna Hawkins (late Larry) of Owenton, KY and Gregory B. Dyer of Williamstown, KY; his siblings, Donnie Dyer (Peggy) of Corinth, KY, Arbiedella "Della" Richerson (late Johnny) of Jonesville, KY, Anita Wright (Jim) of Corinth, KY, Jeanette Franklin (Jimmy) of Georgetown, KY and Denise Epperson of Georgetown, KY.; his grandchildren, Melinda Beach (Kevin), Arlene Yager (Vincent) and Craigory Lee Dyer; and his wife Mildred Mae Dyer. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
