He is survived by: his wife Deborah Raby Wagers; his children, JP Wagers, Jr. and Lisa Wagers; his stepchildren, Howard Dalton (Cynthia), Willis Dalton (Angel), Daniel Dalton (Amy), Jim Bob Dalton (Susan) and Paula Jo Raby; and his siblings, Green Wagers (Mary), Laura Jackson, Elaine Purnell and Patricia Oakley (Danny). He is also survived by nephew and several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Corinth Baptist Church (235 Church St, Corinth, KY 41010). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
