He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert Alvey and Nelly Mae Alvey; his wife Zelda Alvey; and his brothers, Raymond E. Logan, Richard Alvey, Larry Alvey, Leon Alvey and James Alvey.
He is survived by: his sons, Greg Alvey (Lisa) of Corydon, KY and David Alvey (Pam Bryant) of Dixon, KY; and his grandsons, Seth Alvey (Stacie) and Ethan Alvey (Hannah).
