He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Campbell and June Campbell; his former wife Karen; his wife Lucy; his children, Carrie Swegles of Erlanger, Mike Campbell of Covington, Tonya Dudley of Lakeside Park and Carol "Renie" Arlinghaus of Florence, Kentucky; and his sister June Bonnett of Independence, Kentucky. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made directly to Karen Campbell to help with final arrangements.
