She was predeceased by: her parents, Jennings Ayers and Mary Catherine Ayers (Perry). She is survived by: her brother Jennings Jr. (Larry "Frog" Redmond); her children, Michael Hall, Leha Schutte (Ken) and Perrie Lahner (Joe); her grandchildren, Andy, Holli, Ashley, Tyler, Adam, Morgan, Jordan, Zachary, Nicole and Olivia; and her great grandchild Kamryn.
True to her giving nature, Carol continued to give even at the end by donating her body to the University of Cincinnati for medical research to benefit others. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth, 483 S Loop Rd., Edgewood, KY 41017.
