It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher Mackenzie Mackay (Covington, Kentucky), who passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Michele Mackay; and his grandfather Robert Mackay. He is survived by: his wife Ashley Mackay; his grandmother Patricia Mackay; his uncle Matt Mackay; his cousin Collin Mackay (Lydia); his parents-in-law, David and Karen Davis; his siblings-in-law, Travis Shanks (Laura), Nathan Davis (Amanda), Kelly Hart (Andy) and Emily Brocker (TJ); his sibling's children, Damien Blades, Lexi Shanks, Eli Shanks, Jessica Hoskins (Kyle), Kyle Hart, Jessica Hart (Ty Cigolotti), Trent Brocker (Paige), Parker Brocker, Brody Brocker, Abraham Davis and Isaiah Davis; his pets, Tilly, Sue, Sally, Eddy and Tommy; and also, Dorian, Dick and Connie Meyer.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (4410 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials are suggested in Chris' name to the Collinsworth Cause Foundation (for spinal cord injuries), 8103 Rose Petal Drive, Florence, KY 41042.
