Faye Cordes Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Faye Cordes of Covington, Kentucky. Faye, born on May 23, 1931, passed away on November 2, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Faye Cordes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Cordes; her siblings, Alta Lindon, Betty Taulbee, Gay Thompson, Robert Gillum, Graydon Gillum, James Paul Gillum, Lawrence Gillum, David Gillum, Shelby Gillum and Nelson Gillum; and her granddaughter Maddie Harris.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Ferris (John), Regenna Stone (Warren), Deborah Miller, Pam Coppage (Mike), Jerry Chapman (Teri) and Kimberly Harris (Jeff Harris); her siblings, Sue Works and Larry Ralph Gillum; and her grandchildren, Chris Ferris, Nicholas Ferris (Heather), Jennifer Tinch (Joder, III), Warren Anthony Stone (Nicole), Kelley Lee (Steve), Robert Miller IV (Caitlin), Alexander Miller, Brandon Coppage (Kendra), Matthew Coppage (Ashley), Jeremy Chapman, Joseph Chapman (Brook), Julia Chapman and Dylan Harris (Kayla). She is also survived by twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home (11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
