He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Herold and Esther Herold; and his brothers, Michael Herold and Joseph Herold. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Herold; his son Flint Herold (Christina); his sister Martha Meyer (Gerald); and his grandson Max Herold.
