It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Hein of Covington, Kentucky, who passed away on January 19, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Hein and Raymond G. Hein; and his siblings, Raymond, Thomas, John and Angela.

He is survived by: his wife Elsbeth Shepherd; and his grandsons, Owen, Andrew Hein (Michael) and Elliot Grant (Julie). He is also survived by his family and friends.
