He was predeceased by: his father Vincent Thomas; his great-grandparent Willie Mae Grahms; his grandparents, Ruth and Harry Bell; his uncle Ronnie Bell; and his godmother Pauline Lipkins.
He is survived by: his mother Ruth Bell; his siblings, Lotisa Scott (Stanley), Roosevelt Bell (Yolanda) and Sharita Walton; his children, Nina, Joshua Jr. and Lyiah Bell; his uncles, James and Harry Bell (Maxine); his great-aunt Shirley Richardson; and his great-uncles, Johnnie Richardson and Bennie Albert. He is also survived by Seven nieces and nephews and three great nieces and nephews; a host of cousins and friends.
