She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Schulte and Dorothy Schulte; her husband Len Smeltzer; her son Jeff Smeltzer; and her sister Patricia Ernst.

She is survived by: her children, Melanie Lennon, Ann Smeltzer, David Smeltzer and Carrie Katz; her grandchildren, Jeff Smeltzer, Michael Smeltzer, Shawn Smeltzer, Kaayla Allen, Talon Lennon, Conrad Smeltzer, Ben Katz and Carson Katz; and her siblings, Paul Schulte Jr. of John Schulte, DMD and Cindy Schulte. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
