LENA PERRY, Date of Death: Tuesday, May 24, 2022.

Lena Wages Perry, age 92, resident of Covington, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. Lena was born in 1929 on September 11, to the late William Harrison Wages & Mariah Ann Burton Wages in Magoffin County, KY. She retired as a Nurse Aide with Covington Ladies Home. She loved quilting, word searches, canning, and taking walks. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Lena stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Lena. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn't mean she lost her fight, her spirit is now everlasting and at peace. Lena was preceded in death by; her husband of 33 years, Gilbert Woodrow Perry who passed away in 1988; brothers - Earlie Wages, Greenberry Wages, Marvin Wages, Herbert Wages; Infant sisters Laura Wages & Imogene Wages, sisters - Flossie Brandt, Evalee Stacy; and her son, Woodrow Perry. She is survived by her sister Ann Burton of Greenville, OH; children - Lorraine (Leo) Webster of Ludlow, KY; Charlene (Bob) Stout of Worthville, KY; Dwayne Perry of Columbus, OH; Darvin Perry of Covington, KY; grand-children Laura (Bryan) Coats, Richard (Julie) Webster, Sarah (Aaron) Thompson, Joshua Cobb, Lena (Brandon) Sharp, John Albert, Woodrow Perry, Hannah Perry. Lena was the proud grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
