We announce the death of Maggie Mae Powell (Covington, Kentucky), who passed away on July 28, 2026, at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Prie Roberson and Mary Roberson; her children, Barbara, James "Jay Jay" Powell, Calvin Powell, Sr., Marvin "Mark" Ray Powell and Danny Ray Powell; her great great grandchild Aaron Powell; and her siblings, Inez Jones, Y. C. Brown, Betty Roberson, Catherine Roberson, Willie Mac Roberson, Prie B. Roberson and Will D. Roberson.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Maggie; her daughter Gloria; and her sisters, Bobbie Smith, Pauline Watson, Alice Roberson and Mae Roberson of Florida. She is also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and treasured friends.
