She was predeceased by: her parents, McKinley Grubbs and Lucy Canady Grubbs; her husband James R. Hampton; her son Philip Richard Hampton; and her sisters, Louise Ellis, Billie Byrge, Joyce Broughton and Sue Grubbs.
She is survived by: her children, David (Sherrie), Mike Hampton (Debbie), Pam McArthur (Bruce), Lisa Corn (Mike) and Susan Hampton. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers the family that contributions be made to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 South Loop Road, Edgewood, KY 41017.
