We are sad to announce that, on March 14, 2023, at the age of 89, William James Woodfin (Covington, Kentucky), born in Inman, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Hope Woodfin; and his sister Geneva White. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Woodfin; his children, Donna Maloney, Diana Dotson (Daniel), Vicki Jehn (Jeff), Shirlee Schambach (Mark Chase) and William Woodfin (Shannon); his grandchildren, Matt Jehn, Kim Harp-Jehn, Susan Schambach, Philip Schambach, Dayna Schambach, Aaron Dotson of Anna Maloney, J. J and Jackson Woodfin; his stepgrandchildren, Christopher Dotson and Ashley Dotson; his great grandchildren, Thomas, James and Lola Jehn; his stepgrandchildren, Finley, Cambelle Harp, Mason, Walton Schambach, Sophia Dotson, Daniel and Dustin Dotson; his father Ralph Woodfin; and his sister Jean Voight.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to the St. Elizabeth Hospice Care in Edgewood, Kentucky.

It is hard to hear (and for you to witness) the declining physical and cognitive health of two wonderful people I visited at the family reunion about four years ago. I am keeping your family in my prayers as when great parents die, it is a great loss for your family and the universe. I would have responded sooner but last Wednesday and Thursday, I was in NC awaiting for my truck to get a new clutch.”
