He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanne Ann Devine; and his siblings, Allen C. Devine, Samuel Jacob Devine, Jr., Robert Devine, Jake Devine, Harry Colman Devine, Mary Elizabeth Johnson, Dorothy D. Hadley and Julia Virginia Sheppard.
He is survived by: his children, Julia Annette Schof of Greenville, Andrue Joseph Devine, II (Sonia Beltan) of Washinton, NC. and Amy Ludwig (Joe) of Cox's Creek; his grandchildren, Chris, Andrue, Kristen, Courtney, Joseph Jr., Jonathan and Nahomi; and his close friend Patty Devine. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
