It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dan Kennedy of Coxs Creek, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 13, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Buck" Kennedy and Ruth "Tootsie" Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Debby Kennedy of Cox's Creek; his sons, Scott Daniel Kennedy (Jennifer) of Bloomfield and Casey Kennedy (Sissy) of Cox's Creek; his grandchildren, Austin Taylor Kennedy (Kelly), Mikayla Nicole Kennedy-Young (Kristian), Colleen Elizabeth MacLeod (Seamus), Claire Kennedy (Dade Nalley), Wyatt Collier Kennedy and Mollie Abigayle Kennedy; his great grandchild Jason Cade Young; and his brothers, Ken Kennedy of Jacksonville and David Kennedy (Sherry) of Louisville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Barlow Funeral Home (2675 E John Rowan Blvd, Bardstown, KY 40004). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may go to Hospice of Nelson County.
