He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie F. Pennington and June Toomey Pennington; and his wife Deborah Pennington. He is survived by: his siblings, Kay Bryant (Roger), Danny Pennington (Peggy), Virgina Carol Pennington (Tim Hensley) and Georgia Lynn Harris (Kenny); and his stepchildren, Melissa Reed, Janet Lewis, Kenneth Tuttle and Jamie Tuttle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Harmon's Lick Holiness Church (3269 Harmons Lick Rd, Crab Orchard, KY 40419). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
