It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Hiatt of Crab Orchard, Kentucky, who passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Gilbert and Marie Hacker Hiatt; his siblings, Barbara Jean Blanton (Neal) and Bobby Gilbert Hiatt; his niece Paula Sue Chandler; and his grandchildren, Moses and Amelia Berry.
He is survived by: his daughters, Bethany Berry (Joe) and Lori Croley (Jon); his grandchildren, Connor, Molly, Addison and Parker; his brother George Hiatt (Debbie); and his sibling's children, Regina, Twila, Shanda, Bobbi, Lisa, Rachel, Jimmy, Gary, Russell, Chris and Michael.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McKnight Funeral Home (147 Main St, Crab Orchard, KY 40419). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
