He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Doolin Garner and Ella Mae Garner Mosley; and his siblings, Peggy Hooper, Ralph Garner and Raymond Garner.
He is survived by: his wife Sharrie Muncie Garner; his daughter Jennifer Garner Kinslow; his grandchildren, Johnathan Kinslow (Anna), Jessica Kinslow and Joanna Kinslow; his sisters, Barbara Reynolds (George) and Judith Kay Brown (Ralph); and his nibling Talia Perry.
